Notes From the Sweet Spot
TouchDaw is an independent publication about the craft of mixing and the tools that shape it — DAW workflows, control surfaces, studio ergonomics, and the daily habits of people who finish records.
What we cover
We write practical, tested guides on mixing workflow, honest breakdowns of control surfaces and studio hardware, and setup advice for rooms of every size. No press-release rewrites, no spec-sheet padding — every article is written from behind a fader.
Who writes it
The TouchDaw Editorial team is a small group of producers, mixing engineers, and studio builders. Between us we have mixed for labels and for bedrooms, toured with consoles, and broken more MIDI controllers than we care to admit.
Why "TouchDaw"?
Because the best mixes happen when your hands are on the music, not on a scroll wheel. That belief — that touch, muscle memory, and workflow matter as much as plugins — runs through everything we publish.
